Take control of your home.
Replace your standard outlet with the GoControl Smart Wall Outlet and gain remote, wireless automatic control over any device plugged into the lower socket (the upper outlet remains powered at all times). Once connected, your plug-in device can be controlled with an Ezlo or other Z-Wave controller from up to 100 feet away – even with just a touch on your mobile phone!
Child-Protection Mode
You can use your wireless controller to put the Receptacle Outlet in child-protection mode. When that mode is activated, you can quickly press the button on the outlet three times to activate power for items plugged into the outlet.
For Z-Wave devices to work with your network, they must be within approx. 100 feet of your controller or the closest repeater device. The GoControl outlet acts as such a repeater, extending your network an additional 100 feet so it can reach devices that would otherwise be out of range.
Compatible with All Other Z-Wave-Certified Products
Like all Z-Wave-certified products, the GoControl Smart Wall Outlet is compatible with other Z-Wave devices, including those made by other manufacturers. The GoControl family of Z-Wave products also includes switches, dimmers, outlets, thermostats, light bulbs and lighting retrofit kits and plug-in modules as well as security devices, including alert sounders, passive infrared motion detectors, and door/window sensors.
Meets 2008 National Electric Code Compliance
The outlet is fully compliant with the 2008 NEC requirement that all new homes include tamper-resistant outlets. This outlet offers 120 volts of AC power with a maximum resistive load of 15 amps or 1,800 watts.
